The war in Afghanistan was ‘won’ by less than 500 members of the British and US Special Forces and CIA agents, in only 49 days, from the time they landed in the country until the fall of Kandahar, signaling the end of the Taliban regime. This was the first time that a conventional conflict was won thanks to the action of a few hundreds commandos.
The other SF of the Coalition, such as the British SAS and SBS, but also their Australian counterparts, as well as the lesser known commandos from Norway, Denmark and Germany, took part in the action. All are described in full detail in this first hand-documented book.
